On the morning of December 12th, 2026, at the Thu Duc SOTRANS Warehouse, the SHE department teamed up with the local Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Force to successfully organize the 2025 Fire Prevention and Firefighting training, skills enhancement program, and emergency response drill.
This year’s session was a specialized combination of professional certification training (conducted every five years) and the annual refresher course. The program saw the active participation of 26 employees from SOTRANS Group, SOTRANS Logistics, and Southern Port (CMN). During the session, SOTRANS-ers were equipped with essential theoretical knowledge on identifying potential fire hazards, including ignition sources and combustible materials.
The training also focused on preventative measures and step-by-step emergency protocols to ensure swift, correct, and safe handling of incidents. Additionally, participants learned to differentiate and utilize firefighting equipment, such as portable extinguishers (CO₂ and powder) and wall-mounted systems (hoses and nozzles).

Besides, participants had the opportunity to engage in hands-on practice using portable firefighting equipment, enabling them to apply correct techniques and develop quick, confident responses in emergency situations. The program also included coordinated drills between the in-house firefighting team and local fire authorities to simulate fire response and rescue operations in warehouse and yard areas, including search and rescue of trapped individuals.
More importantly, through this training, SOTRANS-ers have cultivated a ready-to-act mindset, a spirit of mutual support, and a shared responsibility for protecting company assets.
By investing systematically in firefighting and rescue activities, SOTRANS reaffirms its commitment to prioritizing occupational safety and risk prevention. This remains a cornerstone in building a safe, professional, and sustainable working environment for all employees.
