Established in 1975, South Logistics Joint Stock Company (SOTRANS) is a key player in the field of warehousing and transportation, serving the development of Vietnam's trade industry. Since 2007, SOTRANS officially converted from a state-owned enterprise to a joint stock company model, opening a new development path. To date, SOTRANS is one of the leading enterprises in the Logistics industry in Vietnam, owning a system of warehouses, ports, and a transportation network covering the whole country, ready to meet all supply chain needs of domestic and foreign enterprises.

INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF FREIGHT FORWARDERS ASSOCIATIONS (FIATA)
SOTRANS HAS BEEN A MEMBER OF FIATA SINCE 1997
FIATA is the French acronym for the "International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations" (Fédération Internationale des Associations de Transitaires et Assimilés). Founded on May 31, 1926, and continuously developing, FIATA has over many years become the representative for the global professional Logistics service provider community. Members of FIATA are primarily National Freight Forwarding and Logistics Associations. Currently, the Federation has approximately 40,000 forwarding and logistics companies in 150 countries.
VIETNAM LOGISTICS BUSINESS ASSOCIATION (VLA)
SOTRANS HAS BEEN A MEMBER OF VLA SINCE 1996
The Vietnam Logistics Business Association was established in 2016, with its predecessor being the Vietnam Freight Forwarders Association (VIFFAS).
INTERNATIONAL AIR TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION (IATA)
SOTRANS HAS BEEN A MEMBER OF IATA SINCE 2004
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is an international trade association of airlines headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (where ICAO is also coincidentally headquartered, although they are completely different organizations).
IATA was founded in April 1945 in Havana, Cuba. It is the successor to the International Air Traffic Association, which was founded in The Hague in 1919, the year of the world's first international scheduled services. At its founding, IATA had 57 members from 31 nations, mostly in Europe and North America. Today, the association has 270 members from 140 nations worldwide.
