About SOTRANS services

With a total land area of approximately 27,000m2 and 200m of frontage along the Nha Be River, our facilities are capable of shipbuilding and repairing river-sea vessels (VR-SB), self-propelled barges up to 5,000 tons, container barges up to 250 TEUs, tugboats up to 4,000 CV, oil tankers up to 2,000 $m^3$, pontoon barges up to 6,000 tons, and specialized buoy-laying vessels.The facility is equipped with two ship lifting systems consisting of 20 air bags (pontoons) and transfer carriages. Our mechanical workshop is fully outfitted with a comprehensive range of specialized machinery to meet all technical requirements for vessel maintenance and construction.
